8. A long walk to freedom

Nelson Mandela’s struggle against the colonial system and apartheid went on for decades. At times all seemed lost; at other times, success was all too near. And yet, he persevered, and so, as Ndileka Mandela, granddaughter of the famous leader says in this message, Africans should persevere too, as the walk to freedom is a long one.
